Nursery & Preschool

Nothing serves as so precious a reminder of God's blessing to us as the birth of a child. Every newborn baby should have the joy and privilege of being brought into a truly Christian home. It is the responsibility of the local church nursery and preschool ministry to provide all the help possible to parents as they seek to serve the Lord, bring their children to church, and teach their children to know God. With all the attention given to the physical facilities of the nursery and preschool, let us never forget the vital importance of the Christian Family.

Children's Ministry

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." ~ Matt 19:14

As a church, we invite children of all ages to be a part of the growing, thriving ministry of our church. With spaces for newborns and toddlers in our nursery and classes for preschoolers and elementary school every Sunday morning, we welcome your entire family to take part in learning and growing towards Christ as a part of our faith-community.

Student Ministries

"Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers." ~ 1 Tim 4:12

Impact exists to show the extraordinary love of Jesus Christ to every student within our reach. Our goal is to provide an exciting and uplifting environment where teens can get connected to Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. We also strive to impact our church and serve where they are called, and to impact the community by sharing and showing the love of Christ!


Impact meets every Wednesday night at 6:30pm to teach and support our students in getting connected in each of these areas!

Faith Bible Institute

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." ~ Psalm 119:105

 Faith Bible Institute (FBI) is a "through the Bible" course for every Christian. Students study chronologically through the entire Bible and systematically through every major doctrine of the faith. Yet, basic classes meet only once each week. Students have the option of a Monday evening or a Friday morning class time. FBI combines solid Bible teaching with an interactive DVD Video format utilizing student workbooks, charts, maps and visuals to produce a life changing learning experience.


The 3 year course is divided into 6 semesters of 17-18 weeks each (plus optional Electives). Courses are on a college freshman & sophomore level. A High School diploma is not required to enroll. Anyone 12th grade and older may enroll. Those with advanced degrees may also enroll.

Sunday School

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." ~ Matt 18:20

Senior Saints

You may retire from work, but you never retire from the work of the Lord. Our ministry gives senior adults a place to continue to grow in their faith and to show the wisdom they have achieved through experience.


Married Adults

This married adult ministry is designed to help strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ while also strengthening the bonds of marriage. You and your spouse will share experiences, learning, and worship that will help you grow spirtitually and discover God's will for your family.


Single Adults

The single adult ministry offers a variety of opportunities for worship, Bible study, personal and spiritual growth, recreation, and fellowship. At the heart of the single adult ministry is the desire to help individuals build a strong, rewarding relationship within the single adult ministry as well as within the church family. It is a place where one can come and find a whole new group of caring friends as well as God's love.


Youth

Young people must be taught the clear commandments of God's Word. The Bible says in II Timothy 2:2, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." The purpose of the local church youth ministry is to help equip families with the necessary tools from God's Word to lay the right foundation for the rest of life. It is of our task to take the place of parents by keeping young people active while separated from home and family. We must work to help entire families serve the Lord ogether. The essential for the youth minister is to walk with God and work with parents.


Children

Children are a gift from God. They are given to parents, and it is the responsibility of parents to give their children back to God. Giving a child to God involves first he surrender of the parents' will to the will of God.


Preschool

H.O.P.E. Recovery Program

"By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." ~ Rom 5:2

H.O.P.E. Is a faith-based, Christ-centered recovery program designed to reach and help the addicted.


The program was founded by Pastor Rick Carter Jr. Ph.D . in 2008. Pastor Carter has his doctorate in Biblical Counseling, and is the pastor of Beth Haven Baptist Church of Oklahoma City and President of the Beth Haven Baptist Seminary. It is his earnest desire to help people who have found themselves entangled in the snare of addiction to experience the freedom that comes through applying the Word of God to their lives.


The National Director is Brother Art Thomas, who was saved in 1995 from a life of sin and addiction. In 2006 he and his family started a Christ centered discipleship home for addicts in Modesto, CA. His ministry has witnessed many addicts who have gained victory over their addictions through the power of Jesus Christ & the principles found in God's Word.


A student testimony:

"My struggles with addictions began as a teen with cigarettes and marijuana, which lead to alcohol and a full blown meth addiction. At the age 56, from a jail cell, looking at a 15-year prison sentence, I called on God and asked him to forgive me and help me. When I was released from jail, I was handed a brochure for the addiction program at Ray Avenue Baptist Church. Through the program I was set free from my addictions. After serving a 16-month sentence I returned to the program and for 9 years now I have been free of the addictions and life is great."
